Flock installed at KCAD
Atrium Gallery, Grand Rapids, MI
wood block prints on paper, cut,
riveted
The humble seagull symbolizes two existences: one existence is that of
the bird, flight and freedom; the other existence is that of scavenger and survivor. What is lacks in majesty it makes up
for in tenacity. “Flock” plays off these dualities within our world, where the fight for space, recognition and
the random savory scrap are actively vied for.
