Saferoom was an installation revolving around the propagation of paranoia concerning a potential biological weapons threat on the US populace. The US Government had issued a set of instructions on how one could secure one's house from such a threat. The instructions included the use of duct tape and plastic sheeting to secure one's home and the stockpiling of food and supplies for use during one's own quarantine. The Saferoom installation played off the themes of these safety instructions and included the construction of a plastic walled "saferoom."

Inauguration Day, 2001

Inauguration Day was a site specific, Guerilla Art Operation on the grounds of the Wexner Center at Ohio State University.
The piece was conceived of on a grey winter day upon noticing that some of the trees in the plaza cast a shadow. Upon further investigation we found that the "shadows" were stains produced by the tree. The greyness of winter, the faux tree shadows, and the impending doom we felt for our country upon the election of a new president coalesced. The piece was preformed on Saturday, January 20, under grey skies during the Inauguration of George W. Bush.
