Trophy
Trophy is a mash up of images and patterns from the rural locale of my youth. The sustenance activities of hunting and fishing are common place in rural West Michigan, as they are in many other parts of the country. They bring with it certain prints, fabrics, and patterns, aesthetics that often are considered masculine. The trophy acts as evidence of success, proof of one's best effort, qualified by its scale- the points on a rack, the length of a fish. The project is in two parts - Camo Buck and Plaid Fish.
